I’ve already gotten back from this trip. If you want to keep reading this post go ahead, or you can read about some of the cool things I did and saw during my trip instead.
You may have seen that I’ve been planning to do some traveling to New York City. Today I’m leaving for my third trip to the Big Apple. I’ll be there with a few friends and we’ll be celebrating our 30th Birthdays. We’ll see a few shows (we have tickets to Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Cabaret, and Sleep No More), wander through the city, and generally soak in the awesomeness of NYC. I’m so excited!
After I’ll be flying to Las Vegas for a few days in sin city with another friend. We have got tickets to the Michael Jackson One cirque show. We’ll wander about The Strip, check out Fremont Street, and try not to blow all our money at the casinos. It’ll be fun times!
Many travel bloggers work while they travel and I would too, but not for this trip. This is a trip with friends and I want to make memories – I don’t want to spend all my time Tweeting about making memories. I’ll take notes about my experience and I’ll take some photos, but I’ll be offline for the next two weeks.
My bags are packed and I’m ready to go. See you in a couple of weeks.
In New York my friends and I booked a stay at The Court St. Giles on the Upper East Side.
In Las Vegas my friend and I booked at the Excalibur Hotel.
The shows mentioned in this article, with the except of Sleep No More and Michael Jackson One, have closed. Fortunately there are lots of great shows in New York and Las Vegas if you’re looking to visit either city.
