Hello there. If you’ve come to this page then I take it you are new to Take Me to the World (or you just really love reading this particular page). Either way Willkommen. Bienvenue. Welcome! Fremde, etranger, stranger. Gluklich zu sehen. Je suis enchante. Happy to see you. Bleibe. Reste. Stay.*
What is Exactly is Take Me to the World About?
Take Me to the World is a blog that was launched in February 2014, and it has two main focuses of equal importance.
1. Travel. Yes, this is a travel blog (what with the whole “take me to the world theme”). On this blog I focus on the travels I’ve taken (and occasionally on the travels I want to take). I hope that I can inform, entertain, motivate, and inspire you to get out and travel.
2. Performing Arts. There are a lot of travel blogs out there, but mine just might be the first (maybe not) to focus on travel and performing arts. Why? Because I love travel and I love the performing arts. Whether it’s a musical, a play, a one-act, a concert, a festival or any other type of performance I want to help you discover the performing arts when you’re traveling, and maybe even when you’re at home too.

Who Am I?
My name is Alouise Dittrick. I’m a writer, a travel enthusiast, and a performing arts and music nerd. I’ve been blogging since 2009 but Take Me to the World is the first blog where I’ve combined my love of travel with my passion for the performing arts. Currently I’m living in Dublin, Ireland, working as a freelance writer, and saving for my next adventure.

*I don’t really know German and I barely know French. That was all from the musical Cabaret.
